Would you get naked for
Men’s Mental Health?

The Naked Knifemaker Calendar is back for 2026 - bigger, bolder, and with even more incredible makers from around the world. This one-of-a-kind calendar showcases talented knifemakers stepping out of their comfort zone (and out of their clothes) to raise awareness and vital funds for men’s mental health.

This project began as a way to highlight how important mental health is within the maker community and beyond. Many makers find the forge, workshop, or studio to be their sanctuary — a place to work through life’s challenges. But too often, men suffer in silence. The Naked Knifemaker Calendar was created to break down stigma, spark conversation, and remind people that vulnerability and strength go hand-in-hand.

By purchasing this calendar, you’re not just getting 12 months of cheeky, creative, and unforgettable photos - you’re standing behind a movement that saves lives, builds community, and proves that makers worldwide are stronger together.

Your wall will thank you. But more importantly, so will the men who need this support.

The Anvil Assignment is an Australian Men’s mental health charity forging a new path for men — and the people who support them.

Through blacksmithing-based workshops, hands-on outreach, and support resources for partners, we offer connection, resilience, and real tools for navigating mental health challenges. Whether you're a man in crisis, a partner carrying the weight, or a family member unsure where to turn — you're not alone. You can sit with us.

We’re currently in the process of formally registering The Anvil Assignment as a fully recognised Australian charity. In these early days, your donations are helping cover the essential setup costs — including registration, compliance, insurance, and the groundwork for our first outreach programs.

Moving forward, NGKnives is proud to pledge 10% of all annual profits to support The Anvil Assignment’s work, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our mission. Every contribution helps us forge something that matters — for men, for their families, and for the future.

3% Cover the Fee

We're launching The Anvil Assignment — a new not-for-profit dedicated to hands-on mental health outreach for men, and support for the families who walk beside them. Right now, we're raising funds to help cover the cost of setting up the charity: ASIC registration, ACNC certification, DGR endorsement, insurance, and our first pilot programs. This is not a tax-deductible donation yet. 100% of funds will go toward launching the charity. Full transparency and updates provided as we go. Every dollar helps us hammer this mission into reality. Thank you!
